Below is the list of events offered in the state Senior Olympic competition. This event menu mirrors the events offered at The National Senior Games: The Senior Olympics, held every other year in odd numbered years.

All events are held for both men and women. Rules followed for each event are those established by the National Senior Games Association for the National Competition. 

Athletes compete in five year age brackets, beginning at age 50.

50-54        55-59        60-64        65-69        70-74        75-79
80-84        85-89        90-94        95-99        100+

 

Archery: compound finger, compound release, recurve, barebow compound, barebow recurve

Badminton: singles, doubles, mixed doubles

Basketball: 3-on-3 (team only)

Bowling: singles, doubles, mixed doubles

Cycling: 5K, 10K, 20K, 40K

Golf: 18 holes

Horseshoes

Race Walk: 1500 and 5000 meter

Racquetball: singles

Road Race (run): 5K and 10K

Shuffleboard: singles, doubles

Softball: team event

Swimming: freestyle, back stroke, breast stroke, butterfly, individual medley

Table Tennis: singles, doubles, mixed doubles

Tennis: singles, doubles, mixed doubles

Track & Field: 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meter run

                    Discus, hammer throw, high jump, javelin, long jump, pole vault, shot put

Triathlon: swimming, running, cycling

Volleyball: team event
